In March 2007, Calvary Baptist Church began a giving campaign, raising faith and raising funds for the purchase of 9.36 acres in Avon Lake.

Our Vision
At Calvary, our vision is to reach people with the Gospel and help them become Christ-centered, Cross-driven Christians. We firmly believe that it is God's priority for Calvary to be a healthy, growing church.

Our Goals
Through Claim the Land, we have three primary goals:

1. Raising Faith: We desire that the faith of our people be raised as we come together with the unified goal of purchasing this property.
2. Raising Funds: We hope to raise the funds effort to purchase this property, moving us forward in reaching our community with the Gospel.
3. Raising Leadership: Through giving campaigns, leaders and volunteers arise. We need far more than money in our Claim the Land campaign. We need people who are committed to furthering the Kingdom. we look forward to seeing increased volunteer involvement at Calvary as a result of this campaign.

Our Hope
The Claim the Land campaign will have lasting impact on the life of Calvary. We hope to see:

1. The strengthening of Calvary
2. Increased community ministry involvement
3. Greater advancement of the gospel in surrounding communities
4. Expansion of current ministries, as space allows greater stability and flexibility
5. Increased global efforts, reaching the world with the Gospel

Ultimately, our goal is to produce worshippers. As we make sacrifices for the sake of the Kingdom of Christ, God is glorified.

Our Treasure
At Calvary, we value above all the transformation of hearts and lives. It is our prayer that you will join us in treasuring the vision of reaching our world with the Gospel. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21).

Our Need

• The total amouint needed to move forward with the purchase was 500,000.00 dollars.
  
• We had a total of 87 pledges made for a total 3 year pledge amount of 499,822.30 dollars.
  
• After 2 full years of the 3 year pledge we have received 330,383.92 dollars or 66% of the pledged amounts.
